This only makes sense if we’re talking about movies. If we’re talking about software (as the Lemmy title suggests) the question in itself doesn’t make sense because only something that needs improvement needs an update

I just thought way too long about “and what about non-human poop?”
It’s literally not safe to open at work, though (of course, depends on the type of work)?!
Unfortunately, it’s not always that easy. I tried so many things, so many types of sports, been to so many doctors and specialists and none of that really helped. I know it’s important to stay active and I am, and I think I found a routine that’s giving me some relief, but it’s not like it’s going away. Years ago, I would’ve said similar things like you, but chronic pain really is a complex thing
No, it’s clearly the size of a small boulder
Jpeg compression so bad I read that as “fake mouse on rat”
I’m European and raisins in mac 'n cheese??? 🤮
Happened to me as well with MyFitnessPal :D but I’m still back at it
Yes, it’s usually not like I never listened, I just disconnect at some point
This has “they turn the freaking frogs gay” energy
Do you actually feel it? I don’t feel it at all. Just at some point I am like “oh fuck, I didn’t listen to what they were saying”. And I cannot even remember what I was thinking
Genuine answer: because it makes language less accurate and if you have to infer what the other person is trying to say (instead of what they are actually saying) that is just unnecessary energy wasted and it WILL create misunderstandings eventually. Disclaimer: I know this is about accurately using language, but as English is not my first language, this comment might not be entirely accurate itself, lol. But I am observing similar situations like the one this post is about in my first language (German) as well
I’m not saying that I have so much to do, but I just have a hard time even managing to watch a single movie. I’m not wasting that by rewatching anything 😅
Are they actually stating “secure alternative”? I only see this on the Lemmy post but not on the linked site. Of course, there is “Security & Compliance”, but not in distinction to GitHub or Gitlab
