Can not wait for final release, but why v10.11? Such big changes… V11 would be better imo 🤔
Anyway thanks to the devs for this great release

I switched to Fre:ac for this. Multiplatform and FOSS, multiple formats (including Opus for your case 😊 )
I moved to Outline, more functions, easier user management and public sharing imo
I tried docmost too, it has a cleaner look than Wiki.js, but SSO is enterprise only. That was a killer for me
I used Wiki.js for years, but it seems pretty dead. Sometimes after months there is a new release with just 1 or 2 bugfixes. Yeah I know… He is working on V3 with many new features (that other wikis already have) and so on. He is doing this for 4 or 5 years now.
People asked to help, to contribute or donate… He doesn’t want anything, he wants to develop on his own (you can read this in his Discord)
My opinion: stay away from Wiki.js and get a better one like Docmost, Bookstack or Outline.
Thanks for sharing and curating this list 👍🏻😌
Clicked through the first few links, Zombotron is marked in Google Play with “contains ads”, Dock The Rocket contains AIP, same for Shattered Pixel Dungeon. :(
Exactly, I don’t get why people want (full disk) encryption, but with automounted keyfiles after reboot 😂
I quote myself from this reply:
Advantage of MinIO was for me the UI. Set custom bucket policies for Mastodon or Outline? No problem
Adding new users and bind them to one bucket? Easy via UI, same for creating buckets.
I don’t know if Garage supports vHost access or only pathstyle. I need both. Another thing was generating a public access link, it was just a view clicks.
Even SSO was easy via UI. I never needed the CLI once. It just worked and was integrated. No third party tools needed.

But it is / was very friendly for users to create new users, edit bucket policies and so on without annoying CLI commands
Let’s hope for a fork. If I wanted CLI only, I would use Garage…
Are they fucking kidding us? No more user management, no more sso, no more policies via UI… What the fuck? Changelog on Github says UI cleanup, but this is entirely a removal 🤬
I don’t like the CLI for MinIO
Will switch back to 2.0, I hope for a fork.
OIDC is very nice to have 😊
I have a question: is it possible now to use our own Mastodon instance? 🤔
I wouldn’t move back to Redis again. Switched to Valkey and it was very easy. Never had any problems 😊
The user “radicale” needs access to the folder Permission denied says it clearly.
sudo chown -R radicale:radicale /var/lib/radicale
This should fix it
Never had problems with Hetzner 🤔
Glad you found a good VPS 👍
I rent the ARM VPS in Nürnberg, cheap and high performance. I don’t have any issues. Last time I had issues was with Contabo VPS. My main server is a dedicated one at Hetzner. Can recommend this one too.
A few people I know are using IONOS or Netcup for webhosting. They offer a lot more than just webhosting, if anyone needs a VPS, go for Netcup.
Maybe you can checkout European alternatives too to find what you are looking for 😊
New funcionality I would like to see would be SSO with OIDC without an exterrnal plugin 😁
Maybe then we get v11
