Many of you will disagree with this (because you’re greedy consumerists), but their employees also typically don’t need to be paid nearly as much as they are. Their employees are also working to maximize profit, albeit from a different, less-effective angle.
Money brings out the worst in people. I don’t really value the input of people going to bat for the businessmen taking their money. Too often I see useful idiots proud to be ripped off and getting angry whenever someone points it out. It’s really the norm at this point, which is sad.
Their revenue is fine. They just waste it on unnecessary bullshit.
They’re a business, after all. They don’t care about their products. They care about doing the least amount of work while making the most amount of money.
It’s not about keeping the lights on. It’s about living as luxurious a life as possible.
I didn’t ask if you support Ukraine. I asked if you thought they could win.
Are you tacitly admitting that you believe supporting Ukraine includes lying about their possibilities of victory? That would go hand-in-hand with what I’m trying to prove about propaganda and how neither side is above it.
If Ukraine was winning, would you be saying “why does it matter?”
I don’t want Ukraine to lose. It would be a devastating blow against the West and the free world at large.
That said, you are straight up huffing copium at this point. It’s sad how people who should be on the side of logic and reason immediately abandon both when the going gets rough.
It’s another reason why I’m proudly independent. This loyalty among crowds is for children and adults who never grew up.
Ukraine also said that the war will not be won until Crimea is reclaimed. I personally don’t take them seriously on that, but you’re free to interpret their words however you want.
Cognitive dissonance is a powerful force. The fact none of you are able to give a ‘yes or no’ answer instead of mental gymnastics and personal attacks is a fine example of how it manifests.
