1·2 months agoIf I remember correctly it was for the structural organization. Creating channels and topics, marking them done and stuff like that.
A kind of open Slack, more designed for projects or companies organized comms rather than just chatting.
I use products from the “Cerave” brand (Loreal). It can be found almost everywhere in Europe, online or not and they have cheap prices with various stuff like moisturizing cream (with or without sunscreen), soaps in big bottle and other more specific creams.
If you just want to wash your self and moisturize it that’ll do the job without thinking too much about it, and they have a uk website.

We moved our instance Matrix to Zulip. It is much better now and makes peoples talk way more than on Matrix.

Once the flight smoothed out, Ulasewicz, who was traveling to Las Vegas, said the pilot made an announcement indicating the plane used software to avoid a midair collision.
Apparently it was right before catering service and well into AP flight. As a europoor I only master Airbus so I don’t know how a 737 is supposed to respond to a TA/RA.

But the foundation of the ground/ground communication is still AFTN based on x400 network (Europe used to have an X.25 network for its CIDIN communications).
The latest and newest tech for international data exchange is AMHS based on X400, often it is x400 over IP ok, but still a 50 years or so tech.
The main idea behind ATC and aviation tech is reliability and compatibility with countries with less money to upgrade tech.
6·3 months agoI have one of those minisforum amd hx 370 (the x1 ai pro). Those are very powerful awesome hardware. I use the mini pc as a work computer for 3D and dev on OpenSuse and lightweight low power gaming machine (like long haul Xplane12 flight during the night).
Everything is well made and beautifully built.
As for this NAS version, if money is not an issue I wouldn’t hesitate. 10Gbs, tons of ram, Amd hx 370. It sure is overkill for a NAS, it’s more tailored for a very beefy docker server and/or virtualization station while being a multimedia NAS at the same time.
I built my own synology replacement with second hand itx parts in a jonsbo n3 case, but if I hadn’t or just had plenty of cash to spare, I would definitely go for a server like this one (my use case is NAS + docker + virtualization + eventual game server all in one).
As a side note, the “AI” part is just communication for now, those chips are not yet supported for local LLM on Linux (Windows only atm), they need ROCm support for iGPU RDNA 3.5 and the new AMD NPU integration into those local frameworks (llama.ccp etc).
It will come for sure, it’s just not ready yet.
