Everything is a distraction.
Don’t ask “Why Tylenol?” ask “Where are the Epstein Files?”

In ‘Fight Club’ Helena Bonham Carter asked her makeup artist to use her left hand because Carter wanted it to look like her character was too fucked up to put on her makeup
BTW, I have proof that Angelina Jolie and Greta Garbo had an affair during the Civil War.
Mark Twain famously said, “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.”
To be explicit. Everyone is doing worse except for a tiny number of billionaires who have more money than they could spend in a hundred lifetimes.
Back in 1960, the US minimum wage was $1.00/hour and the average house was $11,000.00
In those days, pretty much any union job would support a family of four with a decent house and money to send the kids to college.
By those standards, today’s ‘middle class’ is poverty stricken.
The whole theater cracked up at the tucking scene.

Pepe LePew was seducing reluctant ladies decades ago!
I like how in the old comics they’d give the superhero some weakness that would negate their powers.
For Green Lantern it was the color yellow. For the Martian Manhunter it was fire. For Wonder Woman it was being tied up.*
*Wasn’t sure if I remembered it right so I did a search. Over a million entries for ‘Wonder Woman tied up.’ Lotta comic fans out there.

You know your kid; find someone she’ll respect and let them guide her.
If you liked “Idiocracy” read “The Marching Morons” by C.M. Kornbluth, a frequent Pohl collaborator.
It’s the same basic story, but the original version has a much. much darker ending.

“The Midas Plague” by Fredrick Pohl.
A light-hearted science fiction story where 100% recycling, free atomic power, and robot labor have combined to create a glut of consumer goods. So, the higher your status, the less you use. Folks in the ghetto have ten houses and a thousand robot servants, while the Beverly Hills elites live in shacks and play cards for matches.
Fun read.
Just so I don’t waste my time, why don’t you list all the degrees you hold in chemistry, astrophysics, and mining engineering? Then show the research you did that shows why it would be impossible. Please cite as many references as you can.
At this point, the world is so fragmented that you can put anything, no matter how absurd, out there and claim that it’s “the latest thing.”
Enjoy. He did a few follow ups, but the first is the best.
Go read Joanna Russ.
imho she writes rings around the popular woman.
“Young Earth” Christians believe every word in the Bible is true. According to their calculations the Earth can’t be more than 6,000 years old. The idea that there was anything before that is anathema.
