Well, that’s super lame! I wish there was a good alternative. I’ll probably stick with it as long as ReVanced works.

I’ve gotten that occasionally, it usually fixes with a refresh. Was it persistent for you?
Yeah, I gave up carrying that torch. Lol. I hoped I could jump-start it, but nobody else seems to be interested.
Probably around the time they need to get serviced and it costs as much as a Seiko dive watch and takes like 6 weeks.
I admire the engineering of the solar, too. It’s really cool that the Eco-Drives don’t even look like they have a panel. Are the dials like, micro perforated or something? I’ve never taken one apart. And the fact that you can store them for like, 6 months and they’ll still have a charge is very nice.
Sure!
Here is my SKX and an Invicta Pro Diver.
SKX has new hands, dial, chapter ring, crystal, date wheel, bezel insert, and crown. And I ended up doing an NH-35 swap on the 7S26. So basically, just the case is original now.
The Pro Diver has new hands, dial, bezel, bezel insert, high domed acrylic crystal, and I ground the crown guards off.
Hell yeah! Nice collection.
You sure do! And I love them all. I love modding them, I love wearing them. Love learning about them. I’d say my Seagull chrono gets equal wrist time to the Breitling. I try to keep everything in rotation. Except the George Stockwell trench watch… I’m afraid it might be a touch radioactive due to the radium.
Oh, let’s not add the Seikos to the list. I have plenty of those. SKX007, SRP775, and like 5 or 6 I’ve built with Seiko NH-35 movements. I have a watch with a Seagull ST19 movement. I have some vintage ones, like a Timex Viscount and an Elgin Sportsman. But all of those are $500 and under (mostly under 200) and I don’t look at them as dumb purchases.
$19K in watches. Now I have a kid, and I am straight salary. In hindsight, I would be perfectly happy with the least expensive one. I’m a mechanical engineer, and they really interest me. But they were not smart purchases.
Erin, are you even hearing this?
Oh man, it’s delightful. Last October, I woke up and Copilot had installed on my computer. That day, I tried three distros and landed on Mint. Haven’t looked back since. It’s on all my computers now. Except my XP era Dell Dimension, which is for XP obviously. But yeah, I have almost all of my Windows games running now, except Mechwarrior 3 and Battlezone II. But I guess that’s what the old Dimension is for! The hardest thing was WoW for my wife (neither of us play, her friends forced it upon us). Steam games work pretty much out of the box. I think I had to change which version of Proton I use for 7 Days to Die, but that was it.
The Eleganse theme, with a touch of transparency in the terminal is near perfection to my semi-fancy minimalist tastes. The most ricing I’ve done to it is spending two hours finding the perfect menu icon, but you can do so much more.
I read that as John Travolta in Battlefield Earth angrily asking Barry Pepper if he wanted to eat a rat.
DO YOU WANT LUNCH?!

Hah, I’ve totally done that. I’m thinking about doing it again, because it worked way better than my desktops built-in wifi adapter that has no external antenna.
Every year, my company has a company-wide cornhole tournament at our all-employee bbq shindig. I entered it last year, assuming it was a casual fun thing and everyone there played once or twice a year, like me. I’m from two states away, and it really isn’t as big here. It was not casual. These people brought their own bags, some well over $100 a set. I was embarrassingly outclassed. Out in the first round. This year is corn hole and go karts. I’m going to try that instead this year.
It gets to the end of the movie, and he says "OK, i think I’m ready to do this for real. It pans out to a huge set. The whole thing was just The Rehearsal for James to actually go on the mission.
When I was an intern, I had a boss that made me calculate the volume of a large, round, but oddly shaped tank with calculus. Insisted I used calculus for some reason.
That’s pretty easily avoidable, too. Don’t play online games, or talk to people. That’s what I do.
Is it a Razer laptop?
