      Discord increases engagement, and social media uses that to make more money via increased advertising views.

      Yep I only use Instagram and the fighting in comments of reels is extremely prevalent.

      Content creators will even intentionally misspell things to try to kick it off if it’s a reel where the intention is to insult someone else.

        I decided to concentrate on the fediverse and it’s so much nicer. Lemmy and Firefish and Pixelfed don’t have this fighting.
